How the Challenge Works

The Spatial AI Challenge 2026 is structured around a singular competition track to focus innovation:

Data, Models, and Their Applications: This track is designed for participants who wish to contribute in three distinct areas: submitting innovative datasets, developing novel spatial AI models, or showcasing applications that integrate spatial data and technology in new, impactful ways.

All submissions are rigorously evaluated on their technical excellence and creativity. Additionally, a strong emphasis is placed on adherence to FAIR data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and open science principles. This framework ensures every contribution is not only a significant technological advancement but also a valuable and accessible resource for the wider community.
