Sustainability and resilience are among the biggest challenges the world faces today, especially regarding climate change. Meeting those challenges means both collecting as much data about our world as possible and harnessing that data.
I-GUIDE is a big part of harnessing that data revolution.
The students and technical staff of I-GUIDE, or Climbers, are the glue of the institute who foster collaboration and technical innovation across our diverse intellectual terrain.
In this edition, we hear about the fascinating journey of UIUC doctoral student Becky Vandewalle, and how her study of the classics informs her modeling of human behavior in modern-time disasters.
I-GUIDE’s webinar series showcases the innovative research and education advanced by I-GUIDE collaborators and partners.
